Community Learning Session: Clothes Mending 101, Hand Mending

Come learn the basics of hand-mending your clothes! Jessica Spencer is a local sewist who does alterations from her home studio. She has been sewing and creating her own patterns since she got her first machine at age 14. She has degrees in fashion design and history, which have heavily influenced her decision to live more sustainably and to share that lifestyle with others. All materials provided for this class, but please bring a piece to mend (and if you'd like to bring any scraps to get creative with mending, that's wonderful!).
