Earth Day (& Month) 2024

This is going to be an amazing day and we can't wait to celebrate Earth Day and our 3rd birthday in our Ferndale storefront with you!

Here's the scoop (this pun is totally intended, keep reading!) on the day's events!

10:00am: Ribbon cutting with the City of Ferndale

11:00am-3pm: Local Vendors & Activities

  • Henna with Monique Herzig of Alchemy Henna
  • Stamp-Your-Own textiles with Cara Lazarre                                                            Cara is designing some special stamps so you can upcycle a stained            shirt, personalize a bag or bandana, the possibilities are endless!
  • Planty jewlery and such with Lady of the Leaf pop-up
  • Yummy treats - stay tuned for more details!

 Throughout the day: 

  • Learn about Ferndale's sustainability efforts with the city's zero waste systems manager.
  • Find our friends from The Cleanup Club will be here to share info about how you can get involved!
  • We will be donating $1 of every purchase to The Greening of Detroit
  • The first 25 customers will receive a special gift
  • Presentation on how to diy a rain barrel; timing and details tba
  • Free sneaker recycling
  • Want to earn a 10% discount on your purchases for the day? Pick up trash wherever you are! Starting 4/11, do a little cleanup and share it on social media while tagging us. If you don't have social media, share a picture with us on 4/20 at checkout.
